Consultation has concluded

The Bredbo Transfer Station is one of four transfer stations that have proposed changes to current operating hours.

Snowy Monaro Regional Council is seeking community feedback on proposed changes to the operating hours of the Bredbo, Delegate, Nimmitabel, and Numeralla Transfer Stations.

The proposed changes to operating hours at the above mentioned transfer stations have arisen due to a decline in usage levels at each site. It was recommended by Council's Waste Management Committee at its meeting of February 28 to investigate cost saving measures to be undertaken due to the decline in patronage.

Council would like to ensure each community has access to waste disposal options that are provided in an efficient manner.

The community is encouraged to have their say, via online surveys (please see below) and hardcopy surveys. Hardcopy surveys are available at each Council office.

Surveys can be submitted to Council by the following methods:

Emailcouncil@snowymonaro.nsw.gov.au

Post- Snowy Monaro Regional Council, PO BOX 714, Cooma NSW 2630

In person - Surveys can be dropped off in person to any Council office.

Consultation open: Thursday 18 April 2019

Consultation closes: 5pm Friday 24 May 2019
