These awards acknowledge and honour the remarkable contributions made by individuals or businesses in their respective towns or villages, who have demonstrated outstanding commitment and dedication to their industry, community, and the environment.

Voting will be open from Monday 24 April until 11.59pm Wednesday 3 May 2023.


Recognition of excellence and achievement

Snowy Monaro Regional Council appreciates the hard work our businesses in the Snowy Monaro put into providing their goods and services to our community. Operating a business successfully is not easy, and many have faced and overcome a wide range of challenges since the awards were last held in May 2021.

Business awards are an opportunity to enhance a company's reputation, increase brand awareness, and attract new customers, also serving as a morale booster for employees, recognising their hard work and dedication to their jobs.

The 2023 Snowy Monaro Business Awards program reflects the diversity in local our local industry and is divided into three groups;

  • NSW Business Chamber-aligned awards are self-nominated by the business or representative, with the winners of these awards representing the Snowy Monaro at the regional finals
  • Community-nominated “Business of the Year” awards
  • People’s Choice award, voted by the public for each of our localities

People’s Choice Awards

Nominees across all award categories will be automatically entered into a relevant People’s Choice Award based on their location; Bombala, Cooma, Jindabyne and Snowy Monaro region villages.
